DFG PREDATOR HUNTING CLINIC: A predator hunting clinic will be offered by the Department of Fish Wildlife’s Advance Hunter Education Program from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area (near Lake Perris).

The clinic will cover coyotes, foxes, and bobcats, and it will include both lecture and hands-on exercises. Calling, concepts of decoy placement, blind design, hunting gear, firearms, trophy care and safety will all be covered.

Cost is $45 for adults with kids 16 and under free if accompanied by a registered parent or guardian. The class is limited to 25 people, so early registration is encouraged. For information, go to the DFW website at www.dfg.ca.gov/huntered/advanced/predatorhunting.aspx.
