Rancho Cucamonga, Ventura seminars on public land dove, upland bird hunting

Feel like you need a little help finding doves, quail, and chukar for the upcoming fall hunting seasons? I’m conducting a series in-depth, where-to-go, public land bird hunting seminars throughout Southern California. This coming week I have a pair of these seminars.

The first is at Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, July 18, and the second will run from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at the new Oxnard Turner’s Outdoorsman.

While the sessions are designed for beginning bird hunters to teach them how to find legal, public lands to hunt in Southern California, they are just as valuable for veteran hunters who have watched their favorite hunting areas closed over the years.

The two-hour seminar costs $50 per person, with children and spouses in the same household included in that price. The fee also includes a two-issue trial subscription to my Western Birds newsletter (a where-to-go hunting guide). Pre-registration is recommended because seating is limited. Seminar flyers and registration forms, along with a complete list of all my seminars for this year, are available on my web site at www.OutdoorNewsService.com, or you can simply call my office at 909-887-3444.
